I had this song picked out before the weekend even came, but it seems even more fitting after having seen David Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises" on Saturday night. Not only is Regina Spektor Russian-born, but in this particular song she also incorporates text from the Russian poet and author, Boris Pasternak.
