Don't think that its only transmitted through sex, beacuse ts not. It can be transmitted from hot tubs, if not cared for properly. Think of a hotel that has one and all of the people that could be in it daily. If the staff does not treat the water properly, it becomes a chlamydia stew. I found out the hard way. Several years ago that was the diagnosis. There was no way that it occured through sexual realtions. Impossible. Finally the Dr. asked about hot tubs. I had been traveling a lot and at a particular hotel I'd enjoy their hot tub in the evening to relax. It was great. It was also contagious. My Dr. said he had even treated very young children (2 years old) because of exposure in hot tubs. I've not been in one since.
So this thread is worth something after all. Just be careful.
