Yeah, if you've never had laughing gas before it can be kind of weird, I guess. I have been receiving gas for procedures since I was a youngster, because I had to have so much oral surgery as a kid. My pediatric dentist would always ask you to tell him when you could see the care bears dancing in the clouds. Once you could see the care bears, he knew it was safe to proceed. I still prefer to be sedated via gas when undergoing dental work because, well, I like to dance with the care bears.
