I'd also add that their nationalism is tied directly into their religion. So you can claim is nationalism that makes someone drive a car full of explosives into a town square and blow himself up killing 100's of innocents if you like.

Edit: Though to put this in the light of the topic at hand, those murders were the act of God, as those who were murdered was God, as was the car for that matter. So its a cosmic wash.
