Up until this spring, I ate very little in the way of vegetables. Most of my veggies were starches (corn) or salad vegetables.
This year we went hardcore and joined a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Now, every Thursday we get a big mystery box of whatever is fresh that week. So, Thursday evenings are a moment of "Huh. I wonder what this is, and how are we supposed to cook it?" So far, I've eaten everything that came, except for the radishes. Radishes taste like spicy dirt.
