I like low-cal Italian for dipping. I used to be a big fan of ranch and Caesar dressing, but now I use either low-cal Italian or Salad Spritzers--low-calories, low-fat, and it distributes the dressing evenly over what you're eating.
And Grancey, any local supermarket that has a specialty cheeses display of some kind will have a good quality parmesan.
