The farmer's markets are great around here. The fresh corn in June was 'to die for'. I do like cucumbers plain. Cucumbers are easy to grow. One summer when I was a wee one we had cucumbers everywhere. They gave up veggie gardening not too long after that. Cucumber sandwiches, now that's good. Add a little anchovie paste. I prefer my broccoli with a little butter and a lot of lemon juice. How do y'all roast your veggies. Down here we mostly boil, steam and eat em' raw. Okay, we fry also. So, I'm curious about this 'roasting'. Details please.
