One of the big advantages to the single life is nobody cares what state of dress I'm in. This is an especially good thing as I live in a converted attic and during the summer months it gets quite warm up here; I'd much rather open up the windows and strip down than run the air conditioner and end up with a massive electric bill.
Of course, modesty does demand some level of compromise. Since I've been ill I've had more guests than usual (I'm less able to get out of the house, so people come to me) and as a result have taken to wearing pants at all times. I am still usually shirtless.
