I watched Casino Royale yesterday for the first time and I personally don't think it was the best Bond ever. In fact, I found it to be a bit slow paced. It didn't keep my attention as much as previous Bond films did either. Also, what happened to the gadgets? I'd give it a 7/10.
And before any of you purists jump my bones - no, I've never read the books. I'm comparing it to the other Bond movies, nothing more.
