I read VERY early and was reading readers digest and found an ad for these:

and walked into the kitchen where my parents were having their morning coffee and announced that if they bought me these books, they wouldn't have to talk to me about it themselves. I was 7 or 8 at the time

They ordered them. I'm 34 now and have never once talked to either of my parents about sex.
