No, they wouldn't look pre-pubescent because they have pubic hair.
I'm not saying that I think most men like to look at them for that reason, just that there is a visual similarity that, really, can't be overlooked. That is what people, by and large, are basing their objections on. It may be a little reactionary, but they aren't making up what they see.
