idk if anyone saw the Louis Theroux documentary on him and his church... it was pretty interesting.
The old man is pretty much gaga, just some vicious old dog fizzing with hate, sizzling with it... his daughter seems to be the driving force behind it now.
The most poignant parts with the younger girls in the family/church. There was this one part when Louis was telling one of the girls she could have a normal life, she could get out of it & part of her seemed to be yearning to believe him, but the main part of her just couldnt seem to come to terms with breaking away from everything she had ever known or been around... its a tragedy for the kids who he has poisoned...
As for their activities picketing the funerals of dead mormon school girls or whatever else... really the best treatment would be to utterly ignore them. The only power they have is to shock and traumatise the survivors with their outrageous claims.

some people think his whole act is actually designed to discredit the religious right: that he is some kind of ridiculous parody of them who is trying to bring shame on the whole movement by pushing it to what he might call a logical extension of offensiveness. But I just think he is mad.
And yeah, loads of them are lawyers and they are basically live of lawsuits they take out against people they say are restricting their free speech.
