some one or ones to bounce ideas off of
or just to sit back and listen to
friends to critique your work
or simply applaud when it's merited
some little nook wherein lies
fodder for inspiration
speed poetry challenges
the mind to create anew
a breakfast for the soul much as
to eat in the morning is
fuel for the mind to bring on
energy to meet the day
waking the inner muse
so she might inspire again today
