Well, as far as smoking only "while extremely under stress," as one poster mentioned, yeah, I do that...
I mean, I'm usually shy around girls. The girl that influenced me to take up smoking was someone I was seeing like every day, so I would smoke while around her, just to preoccupy myself with something else other than social anxiety, and it kinda worked. I mean, I couldn't even light the thing on the first try...
Anyway, I haven't seen her since last Saturday, and I'm tactfully trying to sever ties with her. My bank account takes a beating whenever she is around. At the same time, now I'm stuck with almost a whole pack of unused cigs that I have no desire to use at the moment.
