One of the very first threads that I started on TFP was about Bob Mould. I've been a big fan of his for years, and if you slow down the video for Sugar's "Tilted" to a crawl, I'm in it at about 3 minutes. For those of you not in the know, Bob was in Sugar and was the creative force behind it and one of the ones behind Husker Du.
That said, he's going on a mini-tour to support his new DVD of the Last Dog and Pony Show tour, which was when he last toured fully electric. He's doing accoustic sets as a part of it, and I've already got a ticket to the Chicago show courtesy of a friend. That said, here's the announcement from his blog.

If you can get to one of these places, I highly recommend it. His album "Workbook" was the very first CD that I bought and remains the only album I ever had on vinyl, tape and CD, and I wore out 2 copies of it in my car. Sugar's album "Copper Blue" was one of the very first signs that woman that I married was more than a potential hook-up.
