Back on topic - meh. It just proves that the Tom Brokaw is right about The Greatest Generation. We needed one of them to ride in to liberate us from Paris. Makes a certain amount of poetic sense, doesn't it.

It's kind of sad that my generation can't seem to step up to the plate where people like Paris Hilton are concerned, and instead seem more interested in adding fuel to the fire all to celebrate a culture where celebrity for celebrity's sake has become the norm.
