Mark Malkoff walks by four Starbucks every day on his way to work in New York City, which made him wonder: How many franchises of the coffee chain are actually in Manhattan? There are 171 ... and he set out to visit them all in one day -- which meant a different Starbucks every seven minutes for 20 hours. His short movie about his experience is below -- after about 14 hours, he ends up getting disoriented from all the caffeine. Watch for the cameo by Mark Linn-Baker of 'Perfect Strangers'!



I never knew there were 171 of them in our fair borough of Manhattan. I have never paid for or bought a single item at a Starbucks, ever.
