I would tend to agree....the damage is done per se. Hopefully we eventually figure out what caused the damage (natural cycle vs. emissions) but as I have three kids who get to deal with the future climate, I need to give a shit even if I can't change the reality.
You cannot plan for the unknown.

But we do know CO2 effects atmospheric temperature gradients, this has been established.
