I started smoking about 25 too and smoked for about a year or so. The only effect I got from smoking was everything around me smelled either like fresh cigarette smoke or stale cigarette smoke. I still enjoy a cigar on the golf course or at least I assume I do (haven't played in a couple of years). But that is a different kettle of fish.
