A pair of pieces
I have a couple of pieces I'm submitting for a show in Toronto called Square Foot. The outer dimension of the work has to be exactly 1 square foot. Everything in the show is priced at $200 Canadian and the gallery is taking 50% commission, so I am not busting myself trying to make masterpieces only to sell them for a hundred bucks each. But on the other hand it is a fine excuse to experiment with media and colour. These ladies are approximately 8" square on a 12" piece of painted plywood (approx. 20 cm square on 30 cm board). Mixed media of pencil, colour pencil and acrylics. Flower Woman and Water Reed Woman.
