What does this mean for hockey in Montreal?

Actually this is a big talking point in Montreal.
Some people think he is the greatest becuase he scored a heap of goals (26 - a relatively large number of goals for a defenceman).
Others say the guy is a horrible defenceman and will never score that many goals again and even with those goals he was a -28.
I am of the opinion that the habs are better defensively without him but that they will need to improve on their offence to make up for his loss. Improving the offence naturaly (by existing young players getting just a bit better) should be no problem.
Otherwise, do the habs have a chance? Very low.
