I'm having a sword made for me right now from Albion Armourers.
It's the Lindsay family Discerner on which the sword from John Boorman's Excalibur was based. It will take 16 weeks to make but this is how it looks:







Hand Polished Silicon Bronze Fittings
Twisted German Silver Wire-Wrapped Grip with German Silver Ferrules
High Carbon Steel, Hand-Ground and Satin-Finished Blade
Sharpened
Individually Differentially Heat-Treated Blade

It is actually balanced and battle-ready which is why it takes so long to craft by hand. But I always wanted the Excalibur from the movie.
