I eat it before the entree, because I want to get my fill of the good stuff--veggies! Sometimes I just have salad for dinner--a big giant green salad loaded with vegetables (broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, carrots, peppers). I do like dressing though--my favorite is Annie's Goddess Dressing:
I also really love those new salad spritzers with the spray balsamic vinaigrette. Yummy!
Speaking of salad, I had a really good Caesar salad for dinner tonight. It seems like more and more restaurants are making their own dressings, especially Caesar. I've also noticed that garnishing Caesar salads with anchovies is becoming a trend. I understand that there is anchovy in Caesar dressing...but I don't need anchovy fillets on my plate.
