That such a law can easily be abused, is why I don't support forfeiture laws. In this case it looks like the fleeing charge should stick, however, it's far too easy to allege that a piece of property was used in a felony (especially drug ones) whether or not it was used in said felony. It's also possible for the government to take your property (if you're accused of a drug crime) without ever convicting you of a crime (or even indicting you). I have a real problem with that.
