Does anyone know a really good way to clean Pergo flooring?
I've been using the Swiffer WetJet for hardwood and laminate flooring but it leave a milky/foggy-looking finish. We've got
Malaysian Kempas from Pergo and it's this gorgeous deep reddish (almost cherry) color with a black finish on the edges of the boards to give it definition. The black does tend to come off a bit if you scrub at it with something harsh... the SO found out that alcohol will take it off after a few hard scrubs. There was something sticky. I read a bit about cleaners and I'd like to see if anyone has personal experience. When we walk across it, it leave footprints just from the moisture on our feet and the color is sooo dull. It's a pain in the ass to sweep, too, because the Swiffer is leaving some kind of residue that causes the dirt to stick. Arrghh! Anyone have any ideas?
