Pan's Labyrinth - 10/10

I loved this film. I've seen lots and lots and lots of movies, but every once in a while I see one that reminds me of how much I love them. This movie reminded me of being young - when my parents would take me to the movies and it was a magical and exciting event. I wish I would have seen it in the theater.

Sexy Beast - 9/10

This was a new one for me. The psychotic feel-good movie. If I ever met Ben Kingsley, I would bow down and kiss his feet for his performance in this movie. Never have I seen an actor make a character stretch of this caliber for a role. People have tried - but Ben Kingsley WAS Don Logan. And it totally blew my mind. I really enjoyed this film overall, as well. Great writing and concept. Inventive cinematography. Bravura performances by all. Only thing was I had to use the subtitles, because I could only understand about 1/2 of what they were saying.
