Just came back from Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
First, let me just say I was always more of a Spiderman or X-Men fan growing up. I never really did care about the F4.
That said, I definitely enjoyed the second movie a lot more than the first one. There was none of that "Ooh. We have powers. Look at our special powers. Aren't our powers really nifty? Let's spend another 90 minutes of the movie marveling at our magnificent powers" crap. It was just down to business, and all about the story telling.
Still, like I said, I was never really an F4 fan growing up, so this will probably bias my opinion in my rating. Still, it was a great movie and fun to watch.

Spoiler: Even though I said I was never really an F4 fan growing up, I did know a few things about the Silver Surfer story line. I was really disappointed at the end when you didn't get to see Galactus' face or form. I was curious how the producers would depict him in the movie. Turns out "ominous floating cloud" was the best they could come up with.
