I don't have a wife. And if she had a brush with death in an absurd fashion and came out of it unscathed then yes, I probably would laugh.
As little as we like to think of it, we all risk death every single day of our lives. I know this. I acknowledge this. The only way I can deal with this and remain sane is to have a sense of humour about it.
