oh, that's because it's a lot of fun. i don't give a shit about french fashion, and i don't necessarily like
all their food...but a whip ass bottle of wine, fresh chicken and vegetables and a little bread goes a long way towards a good day. i don't know about the literate or enlightened bit, but it is a fun place to hang out...or at least, it can be.
They do have some pretty sweet stuff. I enjoyed this in Nancy, and a lot of people think Nancy sucks balls.
