I've never served, but have the utmost respect and admiration for those who do/did:
like my dad...Airforce during Vietnam
like my uncle...Army during Korea
like my grandpa...Army during WWII
If I had to do my life over, I'd do a stretch in the Airforce right out of high school...I needed the discipline.
