Time
Even though today's agony
rips our soul apart,
endless time, always healing
mends our broken heart.
Although we cry in solitude
behind the walls we made,
time slowly erases hurt
as days go on to fade.
Although we feel so empty
and only wish to die,
we do forget our troubles
as time continues by.
Wrote this for a friend a very long time ago....now I find myself having to read it in order to remind me of the fact that time heals all wounds.
