Background info: This 1984 Toyota Celica 4WD is one of many rally cars from the Group B era. This short-lived era of rallying produced some of the most fearsome machines to roam the planet, including the Audi Quattro, Lancia Delta S4, Renault R5 turbo, Peugeot 205 T16 and Ford RS200. Limited only by the engineer's imagination, the manufacturers' budget and by the FIA's requirement that they produce 200 road going versions for homologation, the sky was the limit for how powerful and fast these rockets could go. Unfortunately they became too fast and after a series of tragic crashes that took the lives of drivers and spectators alike, the FIA abruptly ended the program after the 1986 season.
