I grew up playing bluegrass fiddle. I don't play much anymore ... but I do enjoy translating a lot of the stuff I played on fiddle to piano.
My neighbor across the street used to play bass for John Hartford. His record collection is amazing.
I love traditional bluegrass, and I love the new stuff coming out too. I also love the jazzy bluegrass that was hip for a while.
