I saw an interesting documentary on sweatshops. It followed inspectors, and man do they have depressing jobs. The sweatshops pick up and move so fast.... bust one today another opens up the street tommorrow. The actual "employees" often feel they have no recourse. They are often scared by threats of violence.
I remember the Kathie Lee thing well. It was somewhat amusing. But sweatshops are a serious, ongoing issue in most countries in the world.
It should be noted, Kathie Lee, as far as we know, was not a slaveholder.
Lastly, for spybuffs, The Boer War is worth reading about. Alot of spying methodology was used here. If you like that stuff, take a gander.
