Another thing, should you decide to go ahead with this idea, sometimes the little things can add more value than you might realize. For instance adding track lighting, or new countertops, or even new carpet can have a mighty big return in the long run. Also fromt the people that I have talked to say that sometimes, you have to be in it for the long haul. It may be hard to sell the house once you fix it up, and you might have to sit on it.
