jiri barta: labyrinth of darkness
mindblowing.
some of the coolest and most fucked up stop action animation that i have seen--barta is easily as good as the best svankmajer and brothers quaye---
but with a greater style range (you dont see a whole lot of pop art from the brothers quaye...svankmajer is much more versatile...barta though...damn...)
you must find this dvd. you must. you dont understand.
"the club of the layed off" and "disc jockey" are particularly great.
