Me too. I can't wait for monsoon season here, apparently that's when the wild flowers bloom.
Anywho, flowers and birds are always a favorite subject. If you can I would suggest getting closer and filling the frame with the flower or whatever. Some lenses can't focus that close but if yours can I think you'll like the result. The only other thing is I'd like to see you go back next time it's an overcast day and take similar pictures, I think the soft light will add to the flowers too. Experiment and see but keep the pictures comin'!
