Hooray for Movies On Demand for my transatlantic flights this week:
On the way to Amsterdam, I saw "Curse of the Golden Flower". I really liked it, surprisingly good considering many critics gave it very blah reviews. It's not as action packed as Hero, but it has all the aspects of a Shakespearean/Greek tragedy.
On the way back, i saw Pan's Labyrinth. Really, just great. So hard to explain why, but every little thing worked.
