No one's trying to "score any points" off you. I've never even seen that done on this forum...
This thread wasn't about whether tattoos on women are right or wrong, and obviously no one can decide what another person should do with their body (regardless of what pro-lifers would have you think, but that's another can of worms entirely).
It's just that your comment about beating the crap out of someone for saying that tattoos are a "tramp stamp" in your wife's presence is, well, insane. You may feel that the old-fashioned outdated notion of chivalry you find in resorting to physical violence is proper, but the suggestion of violence negates the credibility of anything else you have to say on the subject. Lack of self-control over
words doesn't make a man in my book, but I guess that's just another thing where I'm wrong to have an opinion.
