That's happened to me before...very light period, spotting really, for no reason. Are you on some sort of hormonal birth control (even though you aren't having sex at the moment) or have an IUD? Birth control can mess your cycles up sometimes too. Also, if there is any chance you could be pregnant, during the first month of pregnancy some women will experience spotting when the egg implants. If you are really worried about it, then see your doctor.
