Cyanide use during Civil War?
I vaguely heard that during one of the wars (Civil War, WWI, WWII) that some soldiers had a cyanide capsule inside a tooth, and if they were about to be put in a heinous situation, they could just bit down on the tooth and they were gone instantly.
Can someone lend some specifics to this? I Google'd this but couldn't find anything.
