there is definitely some apartments that you could find downtown indianapolis.....especially if you have a roomate. But i would suggest using craigslist as it is trustworthy on some things such as subleases and temporary housing. I do not have any exact names of places to stay but I have multiple friends who are in the same boat as you. So use craigslist, go down and check it out for yourself if all possible, and also apartments.com and you will have to call and ask if they offer short term leasing. They will obviously have a higher premium if you go through the apartment complex but if you sublease through someone else do I definitely suggest subleasing without having to pay a big security deposit and paying for all the papers you have to sign just to live there.
