I grew up mostly in New Jersey (like forsetti), and, as an asian guy, it was natural for me to like the girls around me. The large majority of people of people there are whites are black. I grew up doing traditionally american things, and liking american girls....my parents were typically strict and when i was younger, i tended to rebel against anything asian. really hated how it seemed like school was EVERYTHING.
when my parents moved out to california, i began to learn all the wonderful things about asian culture that weren't so obvious in NJ. Now in college, asian culture is the craze at my school--UC Berkeley. Guys love the asian girls, anime, asian food. It's very much an asian dominated school, especially in regards to academics. in lots of ways, im glad my parents went out of their to raise me asian (tho i certainly hated it at the time!)
For engineering, almost all the guys here like asian girls, whether it's white guys or asian guys or even the few black guys. Guys in engineering tend to find that asian culture--and of course, asian girls-- fits better for them and their lifestyle
