It does sound like a heat related issue. I have a 19 inch Acer, and it NEVER gets even warm durring heavy use. Sounds to me like something in the unit is having electrical current issues, and that is causeing it to get hot. I would atleast CALL the manufacturer and get a potential RMA case started. It might be a common issue that the manufacturer has, but without asking, you will never know. Good luck and let us know what you find out!
