My top three are:
"In the Living Years" by Mike & The Mechanics.
"And so it goes" by Billy Joel. Always brings tears to my eyes. Thoughts of an unlived life for me and someone special.
"The Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber. Chilling and almost unworldly. Truly music that is inspired by the cosmos and angelic beings IMHO.
This was played in the movie Platoon for those of you unfamiliar with his work. I would have liked it played at my funeral ...except I've decided that I don't want one. They are just too sad for those who remain behind.
