PartyMix, Certainly EVO seems to have a better dog food than most so please understand I am NOT saying it's not a good dog food!! I noticed the EVO dry dog food has garlic in it and while I know garlic has lots of health benefits but it is one of those debatable foods for dogs. Not sure about cats and I am also NOT saying all those are wrong that think garlic is good for dogs. It's just when a ingredient is questionable any at all I avoid it. Garlic is even listed at the ASPCA (Amimal Poison Control Center) under foods to avoid feeding your pet as well as I have read other information about not giving garlic to pets.
Again, I know there is lots of information out there about garilc being good for pets, too! Personally for me and my pet we avoid it since there is informataion, also about garlic can be harmful! I also realize some think it takes large amounts of garlic to be toxic. I just avoid it to be safe.
