I know Sony will never go away and I am glad for that. I know I will eventually get a PS3, hopefully there will be a price drop in the near future. It will be bad though if Sony loses more of their 3rd party developers. They have lost some already and that is hurting them a lot. I think if Square Enix ever jumps ship, Sony will be in big trouble in console war.

Microsoft is also trying to push their way into the Japanese market. Mistwalker (I love Hironobu Sakaguchi more than words can express) already has a game out that caused a spike in Japanese sales of the 360 (Blue Dragon) and is soon to be coming out with Lost Odyssey this year. They may take some away from Sony in Japan.

BTW, I miss my Saturn.
