Im pretty sure the drugs that are used here in the US to treat aids are now at the point where they can live with it for a very very long time. So unless its a cure i doubt it would be big news no matter where it would be. that being said... theres no money in curing it. so dont count on it. Drug companys get rich treating people and keeping them alive while sick. curing them would be bad for business. its sick its wrong but its true. Dont expect them to work all that hard on curing it when they can find a way to let you live with it forever.
