I am going to start out my response to this by disclaiming that I am an evangelical Christian and I believe that Christian beliefs can be an asset in any job. With that been said this concerns me because, while I am a Christian, I do not believe that should be the ultimate trump card in hiring. In fact I do not believe agenda of any kind should be the ultimate trump card. In order for the government to work well we need qualified people in the positions of power. On top of that I believe we need people who are open minded and just in those positions. If the only qualification these people have is that they are from Pat Robertsons university then they should not be hired. Now if they are very intelligent people and are capable to do the job assigned I don't have a problem however it looks like this was not the case.
