I'm with you 100% on this one, Host. I think it's despicable that religious beliefs and practices should be a factor when deciding the people who work for this country in D.C.. While it may or may not have been the administration's explicit preference for a religiously unipolar staff, what could the administration expect when hiring James? It's stupid. Its stupid to overlook very qualified and intelligent people, and favor instead those who share your personal beliefs. I find myself hating this administration more and more everyday.
Until this administration came into play, I had no problem with religion in the White House, but now...I just don't know. It can't be denied that some leaders will be devoutly religious, but I never thought religion would become so accented and fundamental in the White House and in D.C..
While I'm sure we can all agree that religion is a freedom of every American and it should never be repressed or imposed, I don't think it has any positive role in the important choice making and leadership of the country.
